When eight out of ten households have an income lower than the average home buyer and rents start to exceed 50% of income, there's more to affordable housing than property. You can't lift people out of poverty when it's built into their lives, nor build an economy without capacity for people to thrive.
For too long, markets have observed competition through research that leaves consumers passive and without a voice. Suppliers need to approach a dialogue in which we all have a stake. It is only when people own the information used to promote products and services to them that supply can reflect need. Participation is at the heart of our co-operative principles at Zero-credit, and we aim to harness people and organisations towards making informed choices together. That's why we're pioneering a trade in participatory techniques - to recognize the consumer in each and every one of us. |
